Welcome to Sweet Springs Baptist Church

For ninety years, this Church has been a landmark. For the past 40 years the Church has been actively ministering to the Huntsville, Moberly, and the surrounding areas.

The Church has two goals:
The first goal of the Church is to obey the Greatest Command of God found in  Mark 12:29-31 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this. Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater then these.

The Church's worship services are designed to help every believer obey this command. Every service is filled with singing, preaching and fellowship with others. Every believer can obey this commandment by faithfully attending Sweet Springs Baptist Church.

The second goal of the Church is to fulfill the Great Commission of God found in  Matthew 18:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. We are commanded by God to do the same. Every service is filled with preaching to win the unbeliever to the Lord. Everyone attending Sweet Springs Baptist Church is encouraged to help win others to Christ, therefore fulfilling the Great Commission of God.
