Dear Pastor & Church Family

A New Year

I was just thanking the Lord for the great year He gave us last year. We were able to see close to 100 people come to know Christ as their Saviour and also 4 young men surrender to preach. Through the year we have had several setbacks but God has always showed Himself mighty in each instant. For the last several weeks the American Embassy has warned Americans not to travel to Bolivia because of the violence that has been breaking out in various parts of the country. Well we arrived in the country about a week ago and had no problems entering. The problems didn't start until we arrived at our home. The devil has been fighting every minute of us being here. Our house was a mess and we haven't had water for several days. Last night Angie was up with Matthew most of the night because he had a fever and couldn't sleep. Even though things have been rough we still realize nothing has happened without God's approval. Angie and I believe that this year could be the best year that we have had in Bolivia. This February the building we plan to rent for a church should be ready. Yesterday I went and picked up the remainder of our pews for the church. We can't wait to see all that the Lord plans on doing here in this new area.

Planning Ahead

This week we are getting a little room next to our home ready for a young man to move into. This young man surrendered to preach last year in a youth meeting. He plans to help us start this new church. Angie and I believe this will be a tremendous blessing not only to us but to him also. He will be able to learn a lot about the ministry and it will also give me someone to go soul winning with on a daily basis. I remember the Lord speaking to his heart about the ministry but I never thought he would be willing to move out here with a desire to help us. "God is Good"

Thank You So Much

I would like to tell everyone that prayed and that has helped with medical bill for Kinsey thank you. Because it has been so hectic this last month I know that I have missed sending someone a thank you note and I am greatly sorry. Everyone has been such a blessing. If you have been wondering Kinsey is doing great, it is almost like nothing had ever happened. We serve a mighty God and we give him all the praise and glory for changing her condition for the best.
