WHAT IS IT?
"It is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8
Jesus Christ coming to this earth from heaven, was God manifested in the flesh to live upon this earth in the body of flesh. He was God living as man. He died on Calvery's cross, was buried and sealed in a tomb. but death to his body could not have victory over God's son. he was raised from the dead by his own power to be the Savior of all who would confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead. The Bible says: "Thou shalt be saved," Romans 10:13.
SALVATION IS GOD HIMSELF
Jesus said---"I am the way, the truth, and the life." John 14:6
WHAT SALVATION IS NOT
1. NOT Church membership
2. NOT works, lest ye boast
3. NOT from your goodness
4. NOT from Preachers, Priests, or Popes nor Idols... "for all have sinned..."
A sinner can't save a sinner, so it's out of man's hands. "Salvation is by grace, through faith." Ephesians 2:8
SALVATION IS ETERNAL
"He that believeth on the son hath everlasting life." John 3:36
"And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish." John 10:28
SALVATION---Is a Spiritual Birth
John 3:6
1. It's NOT a spiritual feeling.
2. It's NOT an emotional feeling.
3. It's NOT joining up.
SALVATION---Is God giving birth to your dead spirit.
Ephesians 2:1
"Jesus said, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
John 3:3
"A man can receive nothing , except it be given him from Heaven."
John 3:27
SALVATION FOR ALL
God's way to eternal salvation is not trusted to mortal man. Man could not keep the Law of the Ten Commandments. All of man's efforts failed.
Adam sinned. God said every seed after its own kind. The flesh is after Adam. Man is proud, boastful, wicked, and unbelieving and his heart is far from God.
SALVATION---Is to be born of God's seed, "Jesus Christ."
Genesis 3:15
Friend, as you read this, if you have salvation, you have Jesus Christ in you. And you are in Christ. Ephesians 4:24 says: "And that ye put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
COLOSSIANS 2:10---"And ye are complete in him."
If we are complete in Jesus Christ, "And we are," then we need nothing added to have salvation.
Receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, trusting only him by faith God's grace. Read Romans 10:9, knowing this is God's word. Confess the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead and thou shalt be saved.
